From my experience, on the 2015 version, it works in my F10 like this in London, a small central part of Liverpool and a small central part of Manchester. Forget it in Stoke, Stafford, Warwick, Oxford, Blackpool, Chester, Bournemouth....I've not been everywhere yet obviously. Never seen it work anywhere else but maybe it's improving all the time...
I would also agree with xenon, I tend to switch it to 2D...
