Dinan uses a fancy piggy back, but unlike most simple ones, it intercepts every wire and plugs in line with the ECU.
ESS is able to do my N63 but it requires the replacement of the ECU and its a one time tune only, so im going to wait until I get downpipes and figure out if im doing turbos or just getting a newer N63tu/ used M4/M5 next year. He did say mine was a very early 2011 which had the 2010 ECU still so it may vary year to year. |
I don't think so. Maybe on the TU motor, but the Dinan tune on the N63 is not a piggy back.
