This conversion worked for most BMW's.
The US version lights are used for what I think is the "Assisted Braking" option where they light up on hard braking. Non-US versions use them for fog lights
Unless something else has changed, you would only need to purchase the part pictured in the above posts, or the equivalent for the F10...
