I owned an A6 10 years ago while in the UK and liked it, and I've always considered Audis when looking at new cars. While I like some of their design themes and elements, they can't mask the fact that they use a FWD architecture. They've gone to great lengths to try to move the engine further back and reduce the nose-heaviness, but they are FWD cars and suffer from long front overhangs and short front wheelwell to door ratios. In the USA they focus on the AWD Quattro models, so some might miss this fact (and frankly many won't really care).
