Thanks for the feedback bobblehead. I'm sure you'll (literally) get a KICK out of your 550's monster engine once you let it rip. My car moves nicely with the 3L power-plant, I can only imagine the thrill of having so much additional power.
I did schedule another visit with the dealership - just to have it on record. I do hope that just as you described, it'll go away in the near future. The car is quite fabulous otherwise. I'm up to about 1700km and flipping into Sport mode is fun. This car also provides a healthy dose of luxury and enough electronics to keep a geek happy. This is a delightful toy indeed. How do you like yours? How does it compare to the old 535i?
