Exactly my point. My feeling is that the 535d is already overkill for the daily congested commute anyway. And if a diesel costs 130.000 EUR why should you give a damn about MPG in the first place?

If I had to upgrade from the 535d, only a BIG petrol engine would make sense (550i or M5).
