I have just read the mudguard thread also and they sound like a good idea. I think I might have them also. Mine is on schedule to go into production this week and I hope I am not too late to change the spec now.
Mine on order is Imperial Blue and I rarely wash my car (perhaps 4 or 5 times a YEAR!). Perhaps I should have gone for another silver like my current E61.
