As a comparison, my F11 520d Touring ended up at $60,000 after rebates.
I ordered my 520d touring and have to pay $ 120.000 for it. Ok, its loaded with equipement (M-pack, 19 inch, Navi pro, internet, Hif-pro, Xenon, nightvision, sunroof, reverse-camera, winter-package, carbonblack, automatic, variable damper +++), but the base-price is $84.000 . Which is a bargain compared with 550 xi which cost $241.000.

The reason for this hell is that car-tax is calculated from the cars weight, C02 emission and horsepower. Obama, help us!!
