No chance of that in the UK, my 19" need replacing after about 13 - 15k miles - very prone to shoulder wear.

And yes they're eye-wateringly expensive.
Similar thinking here. A lot depends on the surfaces we drive on, getting 20k miles from any high performance tyre in the UK is quite remarkable, even if you drive moderately.

If you can get over 15K on a rear 275 section, here in the UK, you'll be doing very well indeed.
