No big deal my kids manage once or twice to turn them arround you can use the litle gap toward the midle in the part that hooks to the base unit, with that litle extra space you can turn the belt back,

so by pushing one end of the belt to the midle gap with more space you be able to turn the actual belt arround to its original side, hence have the hook end bit seating in the correct position.
