Strange... I'm from an E39 540i and I really thought the F10 was getting us back to the E39 experience, soul and all. Where the E60 should have taken us, IMO. Both in the whole interior/ambience and the chassis capabilities. OK, so we may have to spec them to suit our needs, then the E39 540i was no different.
An F10 535i is a superb blend of modern BMW, from where I sit. The 530d is the sensible choice, in the UK.
