Looking at the Michelin website the 255/35/20 Ferrari K2 and normal version there is a big difference between them in price, weight and most of all starting tread dept. The normal tire starts out at full 10/32nd tread while the Ferrari tire starts out at 7/32nd.
The K2 tire cost $118 more and it is also 1.1lbs lighter.
This was the exact difference i had with my rear 285/30/20 tires between the Ferrari spec and normal one. I ended up sending the Ferrari tire back to exchange for the normal version since i didn't want to start out with 30% less tread depth. I am assuming Ferrari specified a certain dept for optimum grip for their cars. Overkill for a F10.
