My 535d F10 did 9,0 l/100 km on average, the first 5.000 km.
That's about 60% highway and 40% city/urban. NL is heavily congested so, highway means stop and go most of the time.
I also used the "normal" mode within adaptive drive 70% of the time.
I think that 9,0 l. is disappointing. Especially because I am still quite easy on the engine.
For my next bimmer, I would seriously consider a petrol engine.
