To me the biggest indicator of problems is that the LP570-4 was significantly faster than the ZR1 on the long straight despite giving up a decent amount of power/weight (15%). That simply shouldn't happen, especially with the Lambo's massive wing and frontal area on par with a small bus. On top of that, the ZR1 came out of the corner before the straight 1.5mph quicker. To me, a faster car with less drag losing 4mph to the slower car says either one driver was stepping on the brakes earlier/more immediately (which says significant things about driver abilities) or that the conditions were significantly better this year.

The amount of factors that can change within a year are humongous.

I wish they brought an E90 M3 to this year's LL alongside the IS-F for a proper comparison.
