true, only real way to find out is to do back to back dyno's on the same day with the same temperature. But I think people blow "heat soak" out of proportion sometimes. Even so, you wouldn't be able to notice the 2-3 hp loss due to it (if that). Keep in mind though, with the BMS intake, it still utilizes the "cold air" drawn from the bottom part of the stock air box.

Car is utilizing cold air ONLY when it is moving. Since top is open, engine is ingesting half hot air + half fresh air.
