This seems wrong, the UK and German websites are very clear and I've just checked the configurator on bmw.no ... if you spec EDC (Electronic Damper Control) then your cannot have M-Sport suspension. BTW EDC is the same as Dynamic Dampers. You cannot mix the M-Sport suspension with other chassis options!

Seems you US guys have no factory option to lower the car? I'd say BMW USA are playing a marketing game and you will see a M-Sport lowered suspension option later in the model lifecycle? Bad move BMW USA.

If I were an US buyer I'd also be very unhappy with this. The magic of the M-Sport suspension set-up is not just lowering, it also provides dampers, springs and bushing tuned for mixed-size bigger wheels, from a purist view all the other chassis options are a compromise!
