I used to live in Boston for 6 years so I am well aware of the winters there. 8 years for paint is really nothing. It's really how you take care of the car. It's negligence that will kill a car, whether it's paint,leather,tires,etc. If you can garage the car or whether it spends it whole life outdoors is gonna be a much bigger factor in paint condition than any color you choose. If you do mostly highway driving, I would seriously consider a clear bra.
