Mine made a sound too when it start up, a kind of "clicking" sound, but not loud enough to be intrusive. Can hear it is there though and last for about 3-4 mintues and gone. My dealer say it is normal because the turbo chargers are firing up and all 5 series are like that. I am also wondering why.
