An update, I had the part where the seatbelt comes out of the B-Pillar replaced and this has solved the issue. If I nitpick , you can still hear the friction but its so quiet now, its really not an issue and I am quite happy to drive along now without the radio on.
May be its just me but I always feel that I'km being over fussy about these sort of things, my dealership were ok about it and had no hesitation to undertake the work. (I guess they make some money out of it from BMW)
So worth bearing in mind in case you encounter the same issue.
