Just received an update from BMW Park Lane about my 520d order.
Having agonised about whether or not to wait for the M Sport version, I ordered my car through a leasing company on April 26th, they then sourced the car through BMW Park Lane in London. They have advised that I now have a build slot which is week 30 & delivery expected week 33 i.e middle of August. Only 12 weeks to wait then...!!!
