So if its looks you want get 20's, but if its comfort you want, keep the 18's.

I'm not one for big rims as comfort comes first, so 18" wheels for me.
When I first tried an F10 535i it was on 19" wheels, which were plenty firm enough, even on good roads. The sales guy informed me they had bought in a set of 20" for the car and had them fitted. The first customer to test drive the car with them fitted, came back into the garage saying, if that is what an F10 drives like it is a terrible car. Not believing it could be so different to the 19", the senior sales guy went out and tried it, having driven it on the 19". He came back and said exactly the same, the 20" had completely spoiled the drive. They removed them immediately.
