Same here, I never had any tire problems before so I didn't think it was necessary to buy the tire warranty. Had I known about this issue, I would have bought it the first thing.
I try to drive carefully but it was just one of those things when it was dark at night and the city decided out of where to renovate one of the local roads, leaving a massive man hole hanging out. Anyways, I don't think Good Year will cover this damage, but I will give it a try nonetheless.
The dealership has already quoted me $421 for the tire and an extra $40 for Balancing.
