US spec 6MT E60 550i according to BMW USA website weights 3946 lbs which is 1789.9 kgs; the German spec 6MT E60 550i per German catalog weights 1735 kg. Same is true for E92 335i, the US spec model weighs some 20kgs more than the German E92 335i.

What causes these differences?- different equipment, weighing methodology, etc.
Oh, are you aware of the fact that according to official BMW figures a German spec 6MT E60 550i accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.2 seconds, while the US spec model get from 0 to 96.5 km/h in 5.4 seconds. Interesting, huh?

Anyway, I wouldn’t get all worked up over a few tenths of a second, because it doesn’t really matter. Trust me, the new F10 will not be slow.
