Some of the roads are pretty good with very low traffic. ive done 4500 km road trip last year on Z4 35i, and December 2010 did around 7500+ km on the f10 across different states.
And there are some expressways safe enough to max out the car.
Mumbai pune expressway, the traffic is bumper to bumper during rush hours, i understand what you must have gone through!
