i spoke to someone at Dinan that allayed my concerns. doesnt look like there is a need to take it off, at all.
as far as the warranty...the car qualified for the 'Easy Street' plan. I'm getting it thru my credit union (DCU) and the 5yr/100k mile plan is going for $2546.
