Thanks man. Yea I just read a few articles on it. Did not know this before I bought the car. No regrets on the engine choice though. The only regret I have is not geting HUD..

We went with the new turbo I4 in our X3. I agree, no regrets at all. We actually test drove the old non-turbo I6 powered X3 28i about a year before we bought our car. I can tell the difference in smoothness between the I4 and the old I6, but I'd trade it any day for the performance of the turbo I4 in the X3. The N20 (BMW's code for the turbo I4) is an incredible little engine.
