Nice write up and thanks for sharing. I've often thought about switching out my stock speakers. i think they sound pretty good for stock but I used to do car audio years ago and that makes me want to do something sweet but still factory like in setup.
I'd love to hear what you decide for the subs... I'll more than likely follow suit. I'd love to throw some JL's in my car though.
