little off topic but i have to say that we don't value options until we have to live without them.
Little things that are installed from factory are so helpful, that when i get in the car that option installed.
After have my f10 coded, i can now close and open trunk with a remote or button under dash.
Coding works wonders with our cars.
If i were you, i would probably look at local shops for totaled F10 that had power trunk, and buy the whole lot of parts. its cheaper than dealer!!!
