You can go wider on the rear. There is nothing wrong with that even on AWD. The main factor is the tire diameter has to match front and rear. If the diameters are different this will affect the AWD system. Also you can run 19s there is no reason not to. Factory M sport BMWs come with 19s with wider rear wheels/tires
