After getting the part number from RealOEM (12138657273) and searching online I found most stores selling that part for ~$55-65.

One website, oembimmerparts.com, has an Eldor coil for $30 with this description:

If you select the models, the 550i isn't included in the dropdown however the part number is the same as the one from RealOEM. Has anyone had any experience with this? Would you feel comfortable with the Eldor "OEM" coils?
