This is my reasoning..and its true...for me at least.

If you want something and its expensive, you can TRY to save money by buying the cheaper version. But, after buying it, you will spend a bit more money to try to make it as good as the version you wanted. Then, ahving spent the original + the additional money it is now greater than the original money for the top one. The sad part though is that the modified one is not as good as the original good one you wanted, so you will probably sell or just dispose the less expensive one and then spend a whole new amount of money for the one u wanted.

So really, is having a budget really that healthy when you know what you want
