- Press the button marked with the arrow shape (Front of the base plate). See my original
picture.
- No the bulge is not big enough to hold the original Apple cable. I think you can now buy shorter USB Lightning cables (about 3 - 6 inch length only). The excess cable from these short lengths can be accommodated inside the bulge.
