My 550i with XDrive is also consuming oil and my dealership states that it's within specifications. My car now has around 5100 miles and it's burned through 6 Liters of engine oil. The next time this car needs oil, I may try a mix of Lucas Oil Stabilizer and BMW LL01 spec oil.
