Get Angel Eyes brighter with non-xenon headlights

I have bought in March 2011 a 525d (f10) without the Xenon option.
As the brochure stated the angel eyes are in LED both with Xenon and non-Xenon cars...but as most of the people here know they are less bright compared to the Xenon equipped F10's. In addition the angel eyes only burn in combination with the dimmed headlight as DRL.

So I asked the dealer if it's possible to have the LCM (Light Control Module) reprogrammed/re-coded so the Angel eyes have the same behaviour as with a car with Xenon...meaning the bright angel eyes as daylight. The answer was that it could be done but the car would recognise there are no xenons and reprogram itself to the default light behaviour for a car with Halogen lights. Can anyone confirm this?

From the manual guide I found that the leds used for the angel eyes are the same with a Xenon and non Xenon F10; So my conclusion is that it's the software on the LCM which sets the brightness of the Angel Eyes leds (by lowering the voltage for example).
