They will sell your car to someone else and they will sell you another car. Unless your current build is the
last car they can or will ever sell, they are BSing you. For instance, in March I had the dealer in my area order two cars: a 535i and a 550i both to my specs as I could not decide between them. I put down no deposit. I accepted neither car as I decided to wait for Sept production to get the camera package. Both of these cars were sold soon after I refused them. No hard feelings. They knew that if I didn't buy them, someone else would. So unless your dealer is particularly mean-spirited, this should be doable with smile.
