Do a search on the subject. Biggest difference is that post 9/10 vehicles had Combox installed. (Biggest advantage being that you can directly plug an i-pod into the armrest console with having to use the BMW supplied adapter. Also can see Album Artwork on the screen.) Pulling happened to cars after 9/10 but supposedly with less frequency.
