The F10 is in many ways like a 7 series. Try an F30. About the same size and weight as an E39 5 series. You might find it more to your liking. And forget about xDrive. If you need a winter car, get an SUV. BMW rear-wheel drive is a real car; Audi needs Quattro in order not to be just another VW.
