I'm looking to get mine swapped out as well. How hard is the install? Is it like changing spark plugs on any other car or is there some computer programming that bmw dealer has to do ?

I will definitely post back after the plug change. The SA from bmw told me the car feels fine and he didn't notice anything, my next option is to test drive a new 550 and see how it idles, I bought my car used with 51k on the clock so I don't know what It was like when new. My girlfriend has an e60 and always tells me her car doesn't idle like that and something is wrong, I tell her it's my "hard on" she's feeling when I get behind the wheel of this beast!  She's a little jealous, but her car is what had me looking at bmw's in the first place.  |
