I have an M-Sport w/ CA (which i hardly use) and currently in a market to do Quad Exhaust and DTM or 3D M5 Diffuser. I am willing to lose the CA feature on my trunk when replacing it with an M5 diffuser but if this "Insert" is a requirement for an M5 Diffuser regardless if i want my trunk CA working or Not, can someone please let me know.

You should be fine if you plan on swapping out your diffuser to a DTM or 3d style. I've read some guys CA still works and some don't
but if you don't use it like you said than swap it!
