Yes, I also read today that it did wear off after a while for some (few weeks or so). One guy says he does it every month or so. If that's the case, then I'm not sure this is a real solution to the problem.

Also, one guy says his dealer is not aware of such a throttle reset. He says the only update or reset the dealer knows is through the ECU - which adds to the mystery of this fix.
