This insurance might just be dealer or region specific. When I purchased my car i was offered the insurance and accepted it after I searched the web on the cost to replace one of these costly tires. Even though I've had great luck over the years of not blowing out a tire nor picking up a nail/screw, Lo & behold, what happens? Six months into the policy I picked up a 2 inch screw and they replaced it with my $50 deductible without question and mine you they were not the original wheels/tires I had replaced the originals with nearly new 2012 550i wheels/tires I brought off eBay.
