Ward's Auto has announced the winners of its
10 Best Engines Award. BMW's N57 3.0L Turbodiesel Inline-6 was named as one of the 10 winners.
The N57 in the 535d outputs 255 hp @ 4000 rpm and 413 lb-ft @ 1500 rpm, while getting EPA MPG of 26/37-38 mpg (city/highway).
Of the 10 winners, 8 featured direct fuel injection, 6 were forced induction and 1 was electric.
