If you go with electric cutouts, make sure you go with a company that offers a good long warranty. Most people I know with electric cutouts end up saying they weren't very reliable and have had to replace them. Definitely don't go with the cheapest you can find! |
I'm not really considering it because I have an exhaust setup already in mind but came across a video of an F10 535i with exhaust cutouts and the car sounded awesome when the valves were open.
I did muffler and resonator deletes on my E39 540 and it actually sounded better with a Dinan axle back muffler so I will be going that route but I don't know much about the cutouts so that's why I asked.
