I finally had my KW coilovers installed yesterday. KW has had coilovers for F10 528/535, but not for the 550i yet. I ended up choosing the V2's vs the V3's due to lower cost and I will never change the compression-- will not track the car. The V2s are height and rebound adjustable.
My impression so far on limited mileage:
Stance- it is essentially slammed which is what I was looking for. Looks amazing with the wheels tuck. I am still on the 351s and may get aftermarket wheels eventually (cost prohibitive).
Performance- One of my main complaints with the stock 550 is when rowing through the gears, the nose bobs like you caught a large mouth bass. With the coilovers, this "bobbing" is virtually gone. I feel like the car can just dart around. In the corners, the F10 feels better and more stable than my e92 M3 on springs. Feels fantastic.
Install- apparently it was very tedious/tough since each wheel has 2 sensors that have to be cut and re-soldered.
I am loving my latest mod and am at work now-- will post pics later today.
I would like to thank Ben and Hector at Wheels Boutique in Miami for the great service and equally great install.
EDIT: HERE ARE SOME QUICK PICS...TOO LOW FOR SOME, I LOVE IT. WILL WAIT 2 WEEKS AND ADJUST HEIGHT IF NEEDED
