Same here, my first drive with Adaptive Drive convinced me the ARS part is the key to comfort and decent handling, even in the softer settings.
I find my F11 535i wagon works well on a wide range of road surfaces in normal mode, with very flat cornering. The fact the ARBs virtually decouple on the straight, enhances ride comfort, in any mode. ARS is a superb option, one of the best ever in a 5-series car, in my experience.
