I tried the rears on before lowering and they bolted up and stuck out just a tad (hoping the camber from lowering will push them in a little) and the fronts wouldn't fit on the hub, the caliper was hitting the spokes.
Yep, when I was doing research to see if I could fit the Alpina wheels, I read of a member of the board that tried it too and it did not work with the wheels of the previous B7. Sorry. I am sure you can sell those for good money and get the new Alpina design. I actually like the old design quite a bit too and had them in my old E24 635csi.
