Factory Warranty is Up: What should I do?

My factory warranty ended on 11/30:

The car is going to be kept for around 3-9 months more unless sold earlier, but now I worry what happens if something goes wrong?

My dealer told me I can purchase the extended warranty, however I must confirm if it lasts for 5 years from the production date or from the date the extended warranty was purchased, it costs $3700, and covers as much as the factory warranty I believe.

The car's spark plugs were changed, and before the warranty was up everything was checked to make sure nothing will go wrong anytime soon, and the car is in perfect shape now, but things can change instantly.

Any suggestions on what I should do? Let me know, thanks guys.
