You may have seen that Doctors are pushing to ban all diesels in London due to health concerns.
I'm no expert , perhaps someone with more technical expertise can answer.
Are diesel cars that comply with EU6 , are these considered clean enough or still concerns as regards this standard?
Is there a newer standard in the pipeline (EU7?) that would address the concerns.
I wonder if the general quality of the air in London is down to earlier generation diesels or perhaps heavier vehicles like buses and lorries.

When I do get the chance to try a 540i, I will be interested to see what the low down torque is like. I do like the way my current 530d feels effortless and the general low revving nature of the engine which seems to work well in real world driving.
Would I miss this going back to petrol? (I had a E39 530i msport previously) even though general refinement would be better.
