I have an OEM 550i diffuser with quad tips on my car, and measuring from underneath the diffuser (to get a straight line).
Inside distance is 34 1/2" at the bottom of the diffuser but the diffuser angles outward so you'll need 37 to 37 1/2" clearance depending on the diameter of your tips.
Outside distance is 49"
