Newbie here, wanted to make intro and say hello to the community. Lots of good information on the forum, and for the most part very supportive and friendly members. Of course as with any auto forum, you do have a few "bad seeds": lol.
While I am fairly new to BMW tuning, I am not new to the tuning scene and modding cars. Been seriously modding cars since 1995......fastest car owned being 94 RX-7 w/ Single Turbo conversion Greddy T67. Dyno 380WHP
Currently own stock '11 535i, and considering doing performance mods. This thread caught my attention and thought it would be a good one to say hello.
To the originator of this thread Alshamsi....that statement as being the fastest 535i on the planet is pretty BOLD. No, I do not have proof of a 535i with faster 1/4 mile time, but I would certainly have to believe here in the U.S. there must be one running a bit better times. Yes, our cars are VERY heavy, however I would be disappointed if the best we can expect on our cars after heavy mods is to run a 13.4 to 13.5.....if thats the case its time to put her up for sale!
My hunch is that from our N55 platform, 13.0 to 13.3 is surely attainable. Of course driver plays a big part.
I think I will be pulling trigger soon enough on available mods, and I look forward to providing my feedback with members, thanks again for all the available information being shared on this forum!
